Rayna Mitkova-Todorova

LinkedinReni Mitkova has over 20 years of executive and management experience in the consulting and financial sectors, with a strong focus on business development and strategic planning. In 2002, she co-founded Europe Matrix, and under her leadership in 2005, in her capacity as Managing Director, the company became part of the German financial group EOS Group and was renamed EOS Matrix Ltd. Following the re-registration of the company as a joint-stock company at the end of 2025, Reni Mitkova assumed the position of Chair of the Board of Directors.
Ms. Mitkova successfully led EOS in Bulgaria through the turbulence of the 2008–2009 financial crisis, transforming it from a small start-up into today’s market leader in receivables management and debt purchasing in Bulgaria. Over the past 20 years, EOS in Bulgaria has successfully adapted to market challenges. According to Ms. Mitkova, the key drivers behind this success are the effective integration of digitalization into business processes and the development of team potential within an environment of trust, respect, and high engagement.In 2011, Reni Mitkova co-founded the Association for Receivables Management and served as its Chair for three consecutive terms. From 2015 to September 2019, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of European National Collection Associations (FENCA).
She holds a degree in International Tourism from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cotrugli Business School in Zagreb. She has participated as a speaker at numerous Bulgarian and international forums in the fields of receivables management, leadership, and management. In 2023, she completed an Senior Executive Program at London Business School.
In 2009, she was among the finalists in Manager of the Year, organized by Manager magazine, and in 2010 she won the Young Manager award presented by the Eureka Foundation. In 2021, Reni Mitkova was once again ranked among the Top 10 finalists in the Manager of the Year competition.
Reni is a devoted mother of three children and, in her limited free time, enjoys reading. In mid-2022, she published her first book, You Always Pay. She also hosts a financial literacy podcast for children and parents titled The Pocket Money.
Tihomir Valchev
Executive Director, Deputy Chair of the Management Board
LinkedinTihomir Valchev has grown professionally alongside EOS in Bulgaria. One of the company’s first receivables collection officers at its founding in 2002, he progressed through all operational levels within the EOS structure and today serves as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.
As CEO, Mr. Valchev’s focus is on operational processes at EOS in Bulgaria. Over the years, his responsibilities have included designing the structure of the company’s operational departments, such as the call center, legal department, and receivables portfolio valuation unit. He was directly involved in the establishment of EOS’s second call center, as well as in the development and implementation of various debt management strategies for clients from diverse sectors, including banks, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, and others.
Mr. Valchev is the chief architect behind the company’s strategic shift from purely receivables collection to becoming an investor in the acquisition of non-performing loans. He has successfully implemented numerous innovations aimed at optimizing internal processes. In recent years, Mr. Valchev has further developed EOS Bulgaria’s expertise in managing acquired portfolios secured by real estate, as well as in providing bridge financing services. According to him, adaptability and the courage to develop new services and enter new market segments are key prerequisites for EOS’s sustainability over the past more than 20 years.
Tihomir Valchev holds a degree in Law from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and in 2023 completed the Senior Executive Program at London Business School. He has been a speaker at numerous Bulgarian and international forums in the fields of credit risk management and organizational transformation. His interests include history and foreign languages.

Martin Voev
Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer
LinkedinMartin Voev is a member of the Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer of EOS Matrix Bulgaria, responsible for the company's overall financial management, planning and reporting. He leads the budgeting and cost control processes, cash flow management and ensures full compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. Martin supports the management team in making strategic decisions by providing timely and reliable financial analysis.
He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the industries of financial services, real estate and building materials industries, including roles as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director in big holding structures. His professional background covers corporate finance, debt management, M&A transactions, investment structuring, as well as the design and optimization of finance functions in multi-entity groups.
Martin holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and has completed the Chief Financial Officer Programme at London Business School. He successfully passed ACCA and IREM examinations. Martin speaks English and German.
